Dead Island Review, Cheats, Secret, Cheat Codes, FAQ, Unlockables, Walkthroughs, Guide for Xbox 360/PS3/PC
In the action-RPG Dead Island you will be transported on an oceanic holiday paradise, which is unfortunately of a bloodthirsty zombies haunted by a crowd. Fortunately, there are spot next to hostile undead and various percussion and piercing weapons, so that is a tasty zombie hunt no more in the way. Exactly this is in fact your job in Dead Island, with the goal in mind, one's best, and even to save a few more innocent lives longer. For this you meet the main and side quests and gather experience points by the way, and components for weapons to be better prepared against the ever-increasing zombie.
Pros: The apparent contrast between the idyllic setting and the nasty zombies ensures from the outset for an obscure, but especially so harmonious atmosphere. Well thanks for the neat control of the hand-reaching, action-packed zombie hunt with four characters are typical role-playing different properties to choose from. The undead opponents are advised in their detailed ugliness very appealing and meet you in all sorts of different types: slow, fast, powerful, poisonous, burning, just to name a few.
Basically plays like a typical Dead Island action role-playing game with a good fight and richly varied talent system. In addition to the unusual scenario still further enrich some fresh ideas to the game. For example, the weapon system, with its straight to the beginning badly beaten fragile devices a little getting used to, thanks to the great diversity of weapons and comprehensive crafting possibilities but a strength of Dead Island.
The necessary components and plans for the adventure you receive experience points as well as the much-needed money from the surviving NPCs on the island. These are major and minor tasks with appropriate rewards for you. In addition to credible concerns aside absurd "Kill X enemies of type Y" quests many genre related titles deliver the needy directly with the difficulty of the task, so that veterans and beginners should not assume to know where they are challenged. With just over 20 hours of game time for the exciting main story and its multiples with all side quests, and a fun co-op mode for up to four players Dead Island offers some anyway.
Cons: Despite the holiday atmosphere brutal zombie-hunt is certainly not for everyone, especially Dead Island in Germany for reasons of protection of minors in any case does not appear regularly. Consequently, absent a German language edition. The taint of Dead Island are hardly playful nature, although the lack of free memory function, and especially towards the end a very long way becoming quite frustrating can. Iceland is a total dead but it must be noted that behind developer Techland put no big budget, so the game in terms of presentation possibilities among the remains, what is actually in it. Graphically otherwise tidy, the animations for zombies themselves are often wooden and got some bad effects are less convincing.
Overall: Dead Island is finally dead, despite some, mainly technical shortcomings a great action-RPG with an unusual, but creating positive scenario and some good ideas. Account for adult fans of the genre, which neither harsh brutality still import some dealers, offers Dead Island least 20 hours of good conversation and motivating. Who does not begin with Action.Adventures or zombies so much, for the Dead Island rather not.
