Masuda announcement rule out a Pokemon Grey. The game designer Junichi Masuda, Game Freak member, has kept its promise and has appeared on Sunday morning to announce Pokemon Smash the last game of the series.
Masuda announced Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 (did not talk about Pokemon Gray, as expected). This is a new type of numbering in the series that avoids introducing new colors to name their games. Instead Black and White will have sequels with the number 2 in their respective titles.
Both games are scheduled for June launch on Nintendo DS in Japan, and the date for the West is still unknown.
