Tekken 3D Prime Edition Preview, Cheats, Secret, Cheat Codes, FAQ, Unlockables, Review, Walkthroughs, Guide for Nintendo 3DS

The Tekken series is one of the most beloved by fans of fighting games, and since its inception has always been tied exclusively to the PlayStation, to its sixth installment, and with the exception of Tekken Advance, a title that came out in 2002 for Game Boy Advance. Since then the series had not come back on a Nintendo console so far, for within a few days, on 17 February, Prime 3D Edition Tekken come to Nintendo 3DS. Delivery exclusively for the Nintendo handheld that brings together 40 characters from the series, a number really generous and to become one of the references to time to 3DS fighting games, racing hard with Dead or Alive: Dimensions and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. And also includes the computer-animated movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance, a great plus to be first offered in Hybrid Tekken for PlayStation 3, one experiment that went a few months ago that included this film, a game remastered and a demo. When you start the game, a menu asks you to start 3D Prime Edition Tekken or Tekken movie: Blood Vengeance. We looked at the film and must say that looks really good, especially with the 3D effect turned on. In the analysis of the recent Resident Evil Revelations commented that the video quality left much to be desired, possibly due to excessive compression, and quality shows Tekken: Blood Vengeance confirms this, as it looks great, despite high duration, so that 3DS is exempt from any problem in displaying the video quality. In the above we see the movie screen, and underneath we have the video controls, with the ability to activate subtitles. In this beta is not final, the game was in English, and still do not know if the movie will at least subtitles in Castilian, which we hope so.

An hour and a half film computer animation created by Digital Frontier, a studio responsible for video streams of games like White Knight Chronicles, Vanquish, some Yakuza, Metal Gear Solid 4 or Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, although moviegoers But remember Appleseed, Ex Machina and Resident Evil: Degeneration. Created thinking about 3D, many scenes that are used properly and 3DS takes advantage of it to demonstrate the full potential of 3D without glasses. A film that, while not great, it is certainly a big plus for a game, and fans of the series like it. Once inside Tekken Prime 3D Edition, we went to see the extensive staff of fighters, a total of 40: Kuma, Roger Jr., Jack-6, Leo, Zafina, Michael, Bob, Bryan, Christie, Eddy, Yoshimitsu , Raven, Dragunov, Lili, Lars, Alisa, Xiaoyu, Steve, Nina, Anna, Julia, Lei Feng, Asuka, Heihachi, Jin, Law, Paul, Bruce, Wang, Ganryu, Baek, Hwoarang, Lee, Kazuya, Devil Jin, King, Armor King, Marduk and Mokujin. You see, the same template characters in Tekken 6, but does not have the same scenarios, if any, and the rest are rescued from various deliveries, and nine completely new.

The first thing that attracts attention when you get to play, and having transferred to portable gameplay with full fidelity of the Tekken series, are its 60 frames per second, playing with 3D enabled or not. This gives a clear advantage over his rival, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, that activating the 3D down to 30 fps. For starters, the overall graphical quality seems worse than the Tecmo game, with a similar character models, and a much worse scenario. Above all, many saw teeth that populate it all, an aspect that was much better care in Dead or Alive. Thus, offering 60 frames per second with or without 3-D effect has taken a sacrifice: the graphics are not too good nor reference in the catalog of the console. Has been worth it? Well, we do not have very clear, because the truth does not give the 3D effect much, not very remarkable, and just playing with it removed. Of course, we must applaud Namco the strength of the frame rate, since at no time hesitate to 60 fps, and in a fighting game like this are needed and appreciated. As for game modes, it is not nearly as generous as the characters, and we see serious shortcomings, sure to be criticized when they start to appear the first analysis. Special Survival, Versus Battle, Quick Battle Practice, nothing else besides the options, the player profile and menu Tekken Cards will be explained later. In Special Survival rivals have to fight consecutively but with the same health bar, but this is filled shortly after each fight. 5, 10 or 20 are the fighters that we can face back to back, getting as a reward Tekken Cards. Quick Battle is the classic arcade mode, Practice does not need much introduction, and Versus Battle mode is where we can face another player, either locally or online with a Wi-Fi.

In either mode depending on our results we can go getting random calls Tekken Cards, over 700 cards with a kind of game characters either renders, illustrations and other reasons for the Tekken series, which are further from very striking with the 3D effect. These can be shared by StreetPass, although we can only equip three at a time to share with the people you come across. Just a collection of cards in a game, plus we get to the currencies move in 3DS, almost no game used here can be exchanged for Tekken Cards, and there seems to be easy to be with all. The gameplay of the series remains intact, with the four attacks in the main buttons, two kicks and two fists, and the top two buttons, L and R, we can set up how you want. In the bottom screen touch, there are four command buttons, which are small combos, and just touching on them we will. These four shots or combos can be configured at will, so that pressing made the combo that suits us. The typical choice but to annoy the purists, but can be good for less experienced players.

With the character roster for the sixth, 40 in all, online mode, and over the film as an extra Tekken: Blood Vengeance, Tekken Prime 3D Edition is to convert from the time of its release a must for lovers 3DS struggle. With the gameplay faithfully transferred to portable hardware, and about 60 frames per second very robust, whether or not 3D enabled, this title alone we generated a few questions in regard to their modes of play, something rare. Technically also seems too discreet, with many sawtooth and a little empty and detailed scenarios, but the fighters do have a good model and some cool animations, all favored by 60 fps. It remains to see where is placed inside the triumvirate of the fight, along with Dead or Alive: Dimensions and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition-, although being very different proposals, will be fully compatible. Very soon, on 17 February, we will leave doubts.
